HDR currently seeking a Site Civil EIT/Coordinator with the technical skills and desire to help support our nationally recognized Building Engineering Services Group, consisting of core services of Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Site Civil Engineering. This person will be contributing to the design of facility related sites in support of a variety of markets including Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Municipal, Civic, Industrial, and Mission Critical buildings and infrastructure. This individual should be self-motivated, collaborative, and possess strong communication skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound designs. In the role of a Site Civil EIT/Coordinator we'll count on you to:
Assist on tasks associated with design and plan production for site development projects (layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, site utilities, etc.). - Develop concept site layouts that are compliant with all Jurisdictional requirements.
- Help prepare site civil engineering calculations in support of the site development (stormwater pond sizing, culvert and pipe capacity analysis, hydrology calcs, etc).
- Coordinate with Jurisdictional Authority to determine design and submittal requirements and determine design solutions.
- Perform administrative tasks associated with preparation of specifications, contracts documents, and permit submittals.
- Attend and contribute to client meetings.
- Coordinate with subconsultants for support and design services.
- Embrace continuous learning and professional growth in site civil design.

- Communicate effectively with managers and team members.
- Mentor junior staff and delegate appropriate tasks.
- Manage your time and organization of multiple tasks/projects.
