Myers and Stauffer is seeking a creative and detail-oriented marketing specialist with exceptional writing and project management skills to join our marketing team. In this role, the marketing specialist will play a key role in developing and maintaining website and social media content, supporting a wide range of internal and external communications, and coordinating corporate events and trade show exhibits. This position provides the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the firm and collaborate across all areas of the marketing communications team - from digital strategy and content development to design and event planning.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Develop, write, and edit a wide range of internal and external communications, including engaging social media posts, intranet articles, marketing collateral, blog posts, and other writing projects as needed.
  • Update the firm's website using WordPress by posting blogs, client alerts, and other digital content; updating imagery; and creating or modifying pages.
  • Ensure proper layout, image placement, and overall online presentation, requiring a general understanding of front- and back-end website functionality.
  • Assist with coordination of the firm's LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Oktopost accounts by developing a content calendar, researching topics, creating captions and graphics, and scheduling posts.
  • Plan, design, schedule, and distribute marketing and project-based email campaigns through Constant Contact, managing layout, content creation, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate on design projects using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Coordinate the firm's trade show presence, including logistics such as vendor communication, booth materials, giveaways, and shipping.
  • Support logistics for internal and external meetings, including agenda development, hotel and event space arrangements, catering, collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Provide proofreading and formatting assistance for the marketing team and other members of the firm as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving and follow-through.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with WordPress and major social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
  • Familiarity with Constant Contact or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
