To support that mission, we're seeking a Communications Specialist Director with a passion for operational excellence and organizational strategy to partner with our VP of Microsoft Digital to be the internal voice of Microsoft Digital across our global team of 1300+ people. In this role, you'll create a comprehensive strategic communications framework and will work closely with leaders across disciplines - engineering, business management, marketing, and executives - to manage a complex communications environment in support of our rhythm of business. You'll draft emails, Viva Engage posts, and messages on Teams channels that drive organizational priorities and alignments. You'll partner with peers and other leaders to create communications that inspire and motivate our global team. You'll create digital assets like PowerPoint decks, videos, Word documents, and infographics that help to convey our brand and story internally and with customers. You'll work with our partners in marketing to ensure alignment on messaging and to support key moments like Microsoft Inspire, Microsoft Airlift, and Microsoft Ignite, and internal initiatives like GIVE month, Hackathon, and D&I events You'll work with senior leaders in Microsoft Digital, Modern Workplace, and other partners to ensure that we have the right message, stories, and related assets to support important go-to market initiatives. And you'll play a key role in developing the culture, voice and brand of Microsoft Digital internally and externally. This position is based at the Redmond campus with 3 days per week work in the office and 2 days per week work from home. Relocation assistance is available. ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Strategy & Operations team, you'll also use your business acumen and analytical insights to help us influence partners and stakeholders through the power of compelling, data-driven stories. You'll help to produce high-fidelity presentations for executive and stakeholder consumption, ensuring a narrative to support each presentation. You'll be part of a global team with a commitment to diversity and inclusion and a work environment that emphasizes and rewards collaboration and teamwork. And you'll work with peers and partners to coalesce our insights as "Customer Zero" into compelling narratives that drive action and influence partner organizations. You will drive the rhythm of business for internal communications for Microsoft Digital as a member of the Microsoft Digital Strategy & Operations team, ensuring our global team is energized, engaged, informed, and connected.You will create and maintain a comprehensive communications strategy and roadmap, ensuring organizational excellence and alignment.You will leverage multiple channels including email, Viva Engage, Teams, and others as appropriate to build awareness, alignment and community across our global employee population.You will partner with other internal comms leads to drive a consistent and repeatable approach to internal communications that maximizes employee engagement and connection throughout the COO's organization. You will coordinate and support messaging and artifact creation for major events including Microsoft Inspire, Ignite, Airlift, Build, as well as internal events like GIVE month, Hackathon, etc. You will build PowerPoint presentations and other digital assets to support internal and external storytelling as required by the business, aligned to the ROB and communications plan. You will actively contribute to the success of the Strategy & Operations team through your communication, business, data analysis, and program management skills.
