It is designed to enable developers to build planet-scale applications.We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Azure Cosmos DB team, where you will be working on a large-scale, distributed, transactional and analytical database. This role involves areas such as Storage (Row Store, Column Store, Log Structured Store, Tiered Storage), Inverted Index, Database Engines like Bw-Tree, Vector Indexing and other(Log-Structured Merge Tree) LSM technologies. In this role, you will work on core engine and distributed systems problems that power the planet and scale database. We do not just value differences or different perspectives. ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support core storage engine features of Cosmos DB to help propel the next wave of growth for Cosmos DB.Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and provide insightful feedback that helps re-enforce best practices.Participate in on-call rotations, helping our customers mitigate issues and ensuring the product's SLOs (Service-Level Objective) stay green, while developing a deep understanding of the product.Design and implement metrics to measure and highlight the true impact of your work.Develop and implement plans to rollout your work in a safe, staged manner.Embody our culture and values | |
