Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings. Azure PostgreSQL is a rapidly growing team inside Azure Data and Microsoft and we're looking for a Software Engineer II who is enthusiastic about solving engineering problems that span distributed services, PostgreSQL extensions as well as building novel offerings that help reduce/automate database management, including using LLM/AI technology, so our customers experience optimal database performance with minimal effort.If you love the engineering challenges on designing and delivering cutting-edge, cloud-scale distributed systems technologies, this role is for you! ResponsibilitiesCreates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable. Contributes to the development of automation within production and deployment of a complex product feature. Conducts and creates experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes for prototyping and testing features, and applies findings back into development. Embody our culture and values | |
