 The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting activities for Concentra'shealth clinics through a solid understanding of business processes, systems and an in-depth knowledge
 of current generally accepted accounting principles and guidance. The role will supervise two to three
 Senior Accountants, and will report to the Director of Business Unit Accounting.
Responsibilities
 
 
     Manage and coordinate monthly accounting, close processes and financial reporting for multiple medical locations, internal service and administrative departments and ancillary businesses Supervise, develop, and retain professional accounting staffProvide financial liaison support to operational colleagues ensuring appropriate accounting of activity and meaningful analysis in support of operational strategiesProvide internal department accounting and analysisEnsure compliance with current accounting controls and proceduresIdentify opportunities to streamline the accounting processesProvide guidance and support for financial audits by liaising with the external auditorsPerform balance sheet reconciliations and accrual accountingCommunicate and work with all levels of Corporate managementQualifications
 
 
     Education Level: Bachelor's DegreeMajor: Accounting or FinanceCustomarily has 5 or more years' experience managing full cycle month end close process, account reconciliation and variance analysisActive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferredExperience with Oracle eBusiness Suite and Hyperion tools (HFM, Smartview, Essbase) a plus.Experience with multiple entities, Public Accounting and/or partnership accounting preferred Job Related Skills / Competencies
