In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting regular patrols of the facility. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity within the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility and maintain accurate records of access as required by site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for the logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address and report any observed issues related to access control.
• Assist in the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter security-related incidents within the logistics and distribution setting.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required by site protocols, maintaining composure during challenging situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
