As a Security Professional - Logistics Facility Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by regularly monitoring and patrolling logistics and distribution locations. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment where you will interact professionally with staff and visitors. You'll conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while representing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced logistics setting.

Pay Rate: $14.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards encountered during patrols according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support access control measures and assist with visitor and vendor management as required by site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
