Surveillance Shift Manager - Full Time

Description

Responsibilities:



  • Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
  • Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
  • Manage the overall operations of the Surveillance department
  • Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
  • Manage the department's budget, including capital expenditures
  • Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
  • Safeguard company assets of the entire facility
  • Review all Surveillance Incident Reports
  • Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of Bally's Chicago Operating Co., LLC System of Internal Controls
  • Support the Illinois Gaming Board and Chicago Police Department on investigations
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Compensation:



  • Target Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000/ per year

Physical Demands & Work Environment:



  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequently required to define color
  • Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
  • Frequently required to lift items up to 25 pounds
  • Frequently required to reach overhead
  • Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time
  • You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.

Qualifications
Education
High School (preferred)
Experience
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday (required)
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
Must have excellent customer and employee relations skills (required)
Must have strong organizational and decision-making abilities (required)
Must have above-average math skills (required)
Must have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations (required)
Must have knowledge of all casino game rules (required)
High school or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred (required)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board (required)
Must be 21 years of age or older (required)
Must have casino surveillance leadership experience. (required)
3 years: Must have three years of experience in surveillance operations, particularly in a leadership role (required)
