In the Category Management Intern position, you'll gain hands-on experience in data-driven category strategy while helping evaluate market dynamics, analyze product performance, and support execution of strategic initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop insights that impact real business outcomes, all while learning how to grow customer value through smart product and supplier decisions.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to uncover insights that guide category and supplier decisions

  • Analyze key performance metrics such as sales, margin, rebate, inventory, and service levels to support strategic initiatives

  • Assist in executing category plans focused on product assortment, pricing strategies, and supplier optimization

  • Collaborate with partners across Product Marketing, Sourcing, GTM, and Digital teams to support product launches and marketing efforts

  • Create and deliver clear, compelling reports and presentations that communicate findings and drive data-informed decisions

Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in marketing or a related business field, with a graduation of May '27 or later.

  • Ability to work part time (15-25 hours) during the school year and full time (30-40 hours) during the summer.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint or data visualization tools a plus

Additional Items of Interest:

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher.

  • Foundational knowledge of business strategy, competitive research, or data analysis

  • Passion for working with data to uncover trends and support decision-making
