Job Summary

As a Warehouse Receiving Associate at our facility, you will play a critical role in managing the efficient receipt and inspection of inventory. This full-time position focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments, contributing directly to our supply chain operations and customer satisfaction


The shift for this role isMonday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm; The rate of pay is$20.75 an hour.

Primary Duties
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, verifying quantities and documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Unload materials from trucks safely using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to established safety protocols.
  • Sort, label, and organize products within the warehouse receiving area, maintaining a clean and orderly workspace to optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly to the warehouse supervisor and assist in documenting occurrences for resolution follow-up.
  • Utilize warehouse management software and scanning devices to accurately log received goods into inventory systems in real time.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse shipping, inventory control, and procurement teams to support smooth operations and inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in routine cycle counts and assist in inventory audits as directed.
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental policies, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace for all team members.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in warehouse receiving, inventory management, or related logistics roles is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to ensure accurate data entry and tracking.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail to effectively verify and document incoming shipments.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely, with appropriate certifications being an advantage.
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive lifting, standing, and moving materials throughout the workday.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
  • Commitment to following safety guidelines and participating in ongoing training initiatives.
Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial but not mandatory, as comprehensive on-the-job training is available to support your success in this role.
