Overview:

As the company continues to grow and expand, there is a need to have a dedicated person to lead efforts in executing the company brand. The incumbent will be a creative thinker emphasizing visual expression to create new and exciting materials. Superior comping skills are needed to provide guides to external agencies and other geography partners. Able to create layouts and compositions based on existing design parameters and expected to generate over-arching creative ideas and round out campaigns from other Marcom teams. This role combines creative vision, strong design execution, and leadership skills to produce impactful visuals that align with company goals and brand strategy. The ideal candidate has a refined design aesthetic, a deep understanding of current design trends, and the ability to guide and mentor junior designers.

Responsibilities:



  1. Plan and oversees external communications strategy in support of product-focused campaigns.
  2. Analyze, develop and execute social media strategies across the most effective platforms;
  3. Maintains advertising placement records.
  4. Maintain knowledge of market trends and developments: identify needs for new marketing campaigns to support the strategic plan and make recommendations to product management teams.
  5. Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.
  6. Obtain input to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately.
  7. Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
  8. Collaborate closely with the Product Management team in developing/designing brochures, sales aids, postcards, booth graphics, advertisements, animations, and website designs.
  9. Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities.
  10. Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using our project management tool
  11. Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video
  12. Leads the development and deploy concepts, templates, and layouts with a clear rationale for other geography Marcom teams to follow.
  13. Activity participate /contribute to brainstorming sessions on new product launches or critical product
  14. Maintain knowledge of market trends and developments: identify needs for new marketing campaigns to support the strategic plan and make recommendations to product management teams.
  15. Collaborate with other departments for product labels, event flyers, posters, etc., as needed.
  16. Maintains existing online documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance. (i.e. SharePoint)
  17. Support digital marketing projects, including creating and editing websites and advertisements.
  18. Manage the media library to drive standardization of branded materials.
  19. Assist and mentor junior team members.


Qualifications:



  • At least 5 -7 years of experience in the medical device industry or in a similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Life Sciences, Marketing, Advertising or similar discipline.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Strong communicating and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
