For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPE The Fleet Preventative Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising, scheduling, and prioritizing preventative maintenance for all heavy equipment and fleet vehicles in the field. Supervise and lead the tasks and budget of a multi shift, 24 / 7 service area that operates at multiple job sites across several states. Maintain workforce, equipment, and supplies to ensure adequate standards of quality and workmanship. Assume responsibility for evaluating employees, meeting production schedules, following and developing systems and procedures, practicing effective oral and written communication, and making decisions within established guidelines. PRIMARY DUTIES 
 
 
 Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamworkManages, monitors, and aligns the lube preventative maintenance daily functionsDirects, controls, and accomplishes Machine Service's maintenance and fleet vehicle maintenance goalsManages and maintains a database of parts necessary to complete servicesWorks with key vendors to obtain required parts and services to fulfill maintenance needsPlans and organizes long/short term support needs. Maintains orderly flow of tasks from multiple worksites.Maintains responsibility for Opening, managing and closing all maintenance work orders within the company's business system. Must maintain an accurate and up to date maintenance schedule for all heavy equipment and fleet vehicles. Keeps the Manager informed about activities and problems.Develops continuous employee training and development programs.Requires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assigned
 
 REQUIREMENTS 
 
 
 High school diploma or equivalentApplicants must be at least 21 years oldFive or more years of job-related experience Valid driver's license and have a clean motor-vehicle record to meet company insurance guidelinesCDL w/ HazMat (Preferred)Strong technical aptitude and understanding of heavy machinery operations and serviceTechnical expertise - specific business/industry job-related professional knowledge, skills, experience, and performance attributesMechanical knowledge of equipment and able to perform routine maintenance if requiredDemonstrated skills with all Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with customers, vendors, own staff, and separate departments throughout the organization in order to exchange information, influence, and persuade in order to achieve company goalsIndividuals must be able to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. on a regular basisExcellent oral and written communication skillsExceptional organizational, self-management, time management, and multitasking skillsAbility to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentencesKnowledge of safe work policies, procedures, and practicesCritical thinking skills to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsJudgment and decision-making skills to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate oneAbility to positively motivate, manage, and develop employeesWilling to work in a team environment
