Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated annual base pay: $85,000(minimum) - $110,000(midpoint) - $136,000(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Talent Development Specialist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Talent Development Specialist role is responsible for executing and continuously improving the performance management process across Woodward, partnering to create and implement leadership development programs, and assisting in implementing Talent Review processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering training and development programs: The Talent Development Specialist III in HR should design and deliver training and development programs that support talent development goals and address identified skill gaps.
  • Performance Management: The Talent Development Specialist III in HR collaborates with HR to develop and implement performance management systems through the Workday HCM suite.
  • Project management: The Talent Development Specialist III in HR manages multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness: The Talent Development Specialist III in HR measures the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback to ensure the program is meeting its goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: The Talent Development Specialist III in HR builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, gaining buy in and alignment for Talent Development goals and objectives.

Key Skills:

  • Learning and development strategy: Ability to design, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Instructional design: Ability to design and develop effective training materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and other resources.
  • Conduct needs assessments: Analyze the organization's training needs through surveys, interviews, and other methods to identify areas where employees need to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Facilitation: A Talent Development Specialist III should be able to effectively facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, using a variety of methods and techniques to engage learners.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coaching and mentoring: Ability to provide coaching and mentoring to employees to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.
  • Change management: Ability to manage change and resistance to change within the organization.
  • Data analysis: Ability to collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven decisions.
  • Technology skills: Ability to learn and use various technology tools and platforms to design and deliver training programs.
  • Business acumen: Understanding of the organization's business model, industry trends, and competitive landscape to design training programs that support business objectives.
