| Basic Qualifications
 
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant supervisory experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The Strategic Weapons Control (SWC) program provides mission-critical capabilities to our customer's Ohio/Vanguard and Columbia/Dreadnought class submarines including tactical Fire Control, auxiliary, and training systems. 
 We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.
 Duties and Tasks: 
  Provides leadership in defining technology, tool and process strategy across a technical domainOverall responsibility for the engineering aspects of a technical domain, to include the acquisition of critical resourcesDirects, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering efforts within area of responsibilityCapable of identifying project risks, assessing issues and developing resolutions that meet cost, schedule productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectivesReview's status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reportsDevelops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholdersServes as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line managementSelects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the functionHandles personnel issues within area of responsibility including merit planning, performance reviews and disciplinary actionsParticipates in development of technical strategies and teaming strategies in technical domainParticipates in the proposal process, including the development of executable project plans on proposalsEnsures process compliance of all engineering activity in area of responsibilityLeads specific process improvement activitiesDetermines and implements the organizational training needs in accordance with the requirements of the technical domainEnsures that domain engineers are active in developing risk mitigation plans and managing their risk profilesMay have budget responsibilitiesFrequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and employeesCommunicates regularly with project customer, and suppliers, project team, and internal managementRegular contact with all other personnel in area of responsibilityReceives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goalsProvides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policiesRecommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s)Expected to manage work, set objectives and meet commitments for self and othersDelegates assignments to others for developing solutions Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
