This position develops and maintains control systems (DCS, SIS, SCADA, Data Historian, etc.) and process data for all operating units at of the New Martinsville site. The incumbent provides site direction for reliability of PCT control systems (DCS, SIS, etc.). Provides technical leadership to PCT Maintenance personnel for control systems. Responsible for implementation and compliance of Covestro-PCT standards and procedures. Lead Site DCS/SIS projects, Lead Site SafeGard Alarm Management initiative, Maintain cyber security for DCs and OT assets.
 Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
 
 Accountable for providing routine and specialized DCS/PCT system support to all manufacturing areas, including batch/continuous programming, configuration of operating screens, alarm points, troubleshooting, process data collection, safety system configuration, control systems networking, etc.Accountable/responsible for implementation, maintenance and security of Central DCS engineering configuration tools, "AMS" Asset Management Systems, "PI" historical data collection systems, SCADA and support of PCT process network server equipment.Accountable for OT security and availability of NMV plant PCT networks.Responsible for testing of all new programming prior to implementing in live production systems.Responsible for process computer systems back-ups on PCT related servers for all NMV business units.Responsible for identifying and developing PCT & SIS training needs.Responsible for scope development, planning, design, and implementation of projects involving DCS/PLC systems.Responsible for implementing approved process changes and new DCS/PLC systems technology into assigned production unit(s) maintaining compliance with MOC requirements & guidelines.Responsible for development of standards and procedures addressing process computer systems.Responsible for providing technical guidance for implementation of advanced process control strategies and process optimization opportunities.Responsible for site implementation and monitoring compliance to Covestro standards and guidelines.Responsible to develop and maintain DCS/SIS maintenance contracts. Responsible for coordinating with outside PCT control system service providersLead Site DCS Upgrade Projects for business units including spending budgetsLead Site SafeGard Alarm Management Initiative.Maintain Cuber Security for all DCS and OT Assets.Train PCT and Operations personnel on Delta V and HIMA systems.Lead the Plant Migration from Delta V Operate to Delta V Live platforms.Lead the plant transition to SafeGard High Performance Graphics. Basic Qualifications: 
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Chemical Engineering preferred) with 4+ years' experience Knowledge and Skills: 
 Working knowledge of statistics, computer operations, process control, root cause analysis and basic engineering principles are essential.Demonstrated competency in process computer systems including Delta-V, HIMA Hi MAX, Servers, Windowsoperating systems, ethernet/networking technologies, PC hardware, peripherals, and applications, OSI/PI, systems integration, and PLC(s), etc. is essential.Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process optimization opportunities.Demonstrated ability to identify, secure and organize process information as required for programming process computer control systems.Demonstrated abilities in process computer systems management and security.Ability to manage necessary resources to meet business goals while complying with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.Demonstrated ability to address and resolve technical issues.Demonstrated strong communication skills for interacting with all levels of personnel (Sr Management/Operating Technicians).Demonstrated knowledge in the design, application, validation and maintenance of Safety Instrumented Systems is required.Working knowledge of electrical, instrument, analyzer, and computer systems is essential.Ability to review drawing packages for approval.
