| The Scheduler is responsible for preparation and maintenance of project schedules across the organization. This position will work closely with engineering, purchasing, sales, and production to identify and track resourcing needs and help establish work planning. Reporting to the service center manager, the scheduler will also be responsible for tracking work order deadlines and help identify opportunities for recovery, as necessary. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 * HS diploma/GED required. * A degree in a business related field preferred. * 1-2 years' experience in scheduling and planning in a manufacturing environment required. * Basic MS Office applications, with emphasis on spreadsheet analysis required. * Scheduling software experience preferred. * ERP systems (Syspro, SAP, etc.) experience required. * Proven track record in safety excellence is required. * Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries. * Ability to read and interpret work orders. (Expand identify errors and correct) * Process work orders in a timely fashion to meet corporate and customer deadlines * Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment. * Adheres to the company's employee handbook policies and embodies the organization's core values * Complete company compliance and safety training when required. * Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. * Physical requirements for this role include, but are not limited to the following: * Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time while operating a computer with occasional light lifting. * Regular visits to the production facility and engaging with operations team. | |
