 Four years of professional pre-registration civil engineering experience; OrFour years of experience leading and performing senior-level technical engineering work; OrBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related fieldCertification as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) may substitute for the experienceAn equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basisMust possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire We Also Value

 Review and evaluate technical reports, such as traffic impact studies, and make recommendations on traffic mitigation improvementsReview construction plans and verify compliance with departmental design standards, guidelines, and practicesConduct quantity takeoffs on project bid items for constructabilityRepresent the department at private development progress and issue resolution meetingsConduct field reviews of various construction and maintenance projects to verify, correct, and supervise the update of asset inventoryEvaluate, test, and recommend the acquisition, implementation, and adaptation of new technology to enhance data collection, data governance, and data integrityPrepare detailed asset inventory needs based on the review of as-built construction drawings, field inspections, and general construction knowledgeOther duties as assigned Working Conditions
