Acentra seeks a Developer, Principal to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The role of the Developer, Principal is to perform thorough analysis of end-to-end solutions of complex business functionality, provide technical solutions for complex business requirements, and implement complex business solutions. This position functions as an individual contributor and works independent of supervision, applying Subject Matter Expertise to provide guidance on Technical / Business Architecture principles, requirements and design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Functions as an individual contributor and works independent of supervision.
• Works independently and in teams to provide insight on design and implementation of complex software programs and framework components.
• Serves as technical lead on development projects.
• Provides development strategy for a client and develops multi-year development approach on programs.
• Coordinates technical work with Developer team and provides guidance to solve business and technical issues as required.
• Creates conceptual design and writes technical specifications for business requirements.
• Collaboratively works with product and project teams to evaluate business and technology solutions and create. solutions design; and provides guidance on technical issue resolution.
• Evaluates new technologies for solving technical problems.
• Guides Developer team on Proof of Concepts using new technologies and innovation.
• Recommends technologies and solutions to enhance the user experience.
• Prepares conceptual technical solution based on business requirements.
• Works on application integration with third-party systems.
• Identifies security issues and provides corrective action plan.
• Identifies and escalates program risks and issues to leadership, and assists in developing solutions.
• Participates in design sessions and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Collaborates with Business Analysis team to finalize the system design and technical solutions.
• Develops process flows, screen designs, and storyboarding to support system design.
• Provides the component level details and effort estimates to Development Principals and project managers for system enhancements.
• Participates in peer reviews of detailed design and technical documentation.
• Performs code reviews and suggests improvement areas as required.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of development to ensure high quality.
• Demonstrates advanced expertise and contributes to the Development practice by publishing technology points of view through the creation of white papers.
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or business related field and 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with software and database architectural techniques and high-level design.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in healthcare industry and expert in domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry, process and software.
• Experience leading teams and successfully implementing enterprise applications.
• Experience working on micro services and modular frameworks.
• Experience building applications with optimum functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Expertise in architecture of web applications and web services.
• Expertise with relational and non-relational database systems.
• Expertise with CI/CD including Azure DevOps, Azure pipelines, Terraform, etc.
• Expertise with cloud architecture, especially Amazon AWS.
• Experience with Angular, Full Microsoft Stack and/or python.
• Excellent understanding of various front-end languages (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (such as jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap).
• Experience working with single sign-on (SSO) integration for enterprise applications, including integrating applications with identity and access management (IAM) tools.
• Experience in designing and building applications with high availability and scalability SLAs.
