| Overview The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy is the United States' first professional graduate school of international affairs. Since 1933, Fletcher's multi-disciplinary education in international relations, law, and business, has prepared the world's leaders to become innovative problem-solvers in government, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations. The primary aim of The Fletcher School is the same as it was when conceived by its founders in 1933: to offer a broad program of professional education in international relations to a select group of graduate students committed to maintaining the stability and prosperity of a complex, challenging and increasingly global society. The School's mission remains (a) To educate professionals from around the world and to prepare them for positions of leadership and influence in the national and international arenas; (b) To increase understanding of international problems and concerns through teaching, research and publications; and (c) To serve local, national and international communities in their search to develop relationships of mutual benefit, security and justice in an increasingly interdependent world. What You'll Do The position of Program Director, Experiential Learning is a recently created role responsible for building and overseeing a comprehensive, school-wide strategy for experiential learning at The Fletcher School. This individual will design the vision, infrastructure, and partnerships needed to institutionalize high-impact, real-world learning opportunities across Fletcher's academic programs. A key priority is to develop and manage a diverse network of external partners-across public, private, and nonprofit sectors-to support student engagement through for-credit practicums, consulting projects, internships, simulations, and other applied learning initiatives. Working closely with faculty and school leadership, this position will expand practicum-based course offerings and support the development of signature experiential programs. As a member of the Academic Affairs team, the role will collaborate with the Offices of Executive Education, Professional Development, and Academic Programs, as well as with faculty, to create new pathways for student engagement. This position will oversee the development, coordination, and evaluation of experiential learning to ensure offerings are accessible, academically rigorous, and aligned with students' professional development and Fletcher's mission. This position will report to the Academic Dean and serve on the school's Partnerships Council. The role will collaborate closely with offices of Executive Education, Office of Professional Development, Office of Student Experience, and the Communications, Public Relations and Marketing Office (CPRM) to maximize impact and visibility.
