What does a Manufacturing Processing Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Part of a high performing team that is engaged and committed to World Class Manufacturing performance, ensuring that the safety of our people always comes first, while building a quality culture of continuous improvement with a focus on zero operational defects and losses and zero customer complaints. The incumbent has 24-hour accountability of quality syrup, water treatment, and sanitation results including safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and costs. In addition, the incumbent will work closely with lab personnel and manufacturing line leadership teams to ensure robust people management practices, build capability of the team, and create space for effective coaching and communications across all shifts. Develop 24-hour action plans, setting priorities and allocating resources to eliminate losses i.e., safety, quality, stops, breakdowns, planned downtime. Incumbent must ensure collaboration with manufacturing line leadership team to develop robust annual maintenance and long- term capital plans.

Responsibilities:



  • 24-hours multiple shift accountability for the business results in the areas of: safety, quality, cost and morale and capability of the Processing areas organization: Sanitation, Syrup Batching, maintenance activities in these areas. Ensures appropriate metrics are in place and monitored
  • Sets a model example of using the IWS methodologies, tools and practices. Ensures teams understands and uses IPS, UPS, BDE and IDA tools and practices to drive out losses forever
  • Leads the Quality Daily Direction Settings (DDS) meeting with the Syrup, Sanitation and Maintenance Specialists. Responsible for organizing work across all operating areas (i.e. syrup room, maintenance, sanitation) and ensuring that business objectives are met
  • Communicate with line and department managers to ensure smooth operations across shifts and teams
  • Combines leadership & people skills to set short and long-term direction for the processing team areas of responsibility. Overall accountability for the staff who operate in syrup and sanitation departments, and team's maintenance specialist
  • Build capabilities in frontline employees and their direct leaders in the areas of centerlines, CILs, defect handling, and other IWS tools/systems. Identify and address any issues that may impact business results, such as quality incidents, equipment malfunctions, or employee absences
  • Provides development and coaching to Direct Reports to build and maintain a performance driven culture; leads by example. Oversees the recruiting, interview, and selection process to ensure a highly engaged, diverse workforce is in place
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that employees are working in a safe environment


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or similar degree preferred
  • 2+ years progressive experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or quality environments required
  • Knowledge of production processes, syrup batching and sanitation requirements
  • Knowledge of quality systems, KORE and ISO preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Base pay range is $95,764 - $125,690 plus bonus structure
(dependent on role) . Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
