Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Test Lead with 10+ years in software engineering and testing to lead our quality assurance function at Pantheon Data. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards across both our core technical product and client-facing product deployments. The QA Test Lead will initially lead hands-on software testing initiatives and is expected to build and manage a comprehensive testing team as our organization scales.
The ideal candidate will bridge technical and business stakeholders requirements, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the product development lifecycle while developing the infrastructure, processes, and team needed to support our dual product delivery focus.

Responsibilities



  • Ensure all feature deliverables for both core product team and client deployments meet quality objectives
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies that unify processes across internal and client-facing products
  • Provide transparency into QA/automation activities and defect management to CB Suite product leadership and executive teams
  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and efficiencies in test automation and overall QA workflow
  • Create, maintain, and execute written and automated test cases for functional, integration, regression, and system testing
  • Design and implement robust, scalable test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Collaborate closely with cloud software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to grasp requirements and define precise test scenarios
  • Engage in code reviews, sprint planning sessions, and other Agile/Scrum proceedings to contribute insights on testability and quality aspects
  • Stay current on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, actively sharing knowledge and insights with team members


Required Skills and Experience



  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field required


  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification(s)


  • At least ten (10) years of experience in Functional, Integration, regression, and system testing process and strategy


  • At least five (5) years of experience in leading a QA team for testing in software development projects


  • Proven record of driving QA strategy and unification of QA process across teams

  • Experience in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans)
  • Previous hands-on experience with robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing such as Pact (contract testing), Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, Swagger, JMeter, Junit, TestNG, TestComplete or similar in a DoD/DoW environment
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into deployment workflows
  • Knowledge of API testing, microservices testing, and performance/load testing strategies
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or SVN
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, PowerShell, Perl, or similar
  • Working JIRA knowledge (creating test plans, test cases, defects, dashboards)


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Active DOD Secret Clearance Preferred
  • Security+ Certification
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Waterfall, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS /or Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency with SQL, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or enterprise software environments with client deployment considerations


Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
