Job Description:


KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Punch Press Operator/Bender Tender to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties:



  • Operate, Edit, and Program CNC Tube bending equipment including the associated automation
  • Conduct changeovers on benders
  • Use of bend check fixtures to ensure quality
  • Monitor Quality
  • Produce a quality product on the Punch Presses and other support equipment
  • Preform changeovers and startups on Punch press equipment
  • Read and understand shop orders
  • Provide a high-quality product in a timely manner to the internal customer
  • Operate Cranes, Presses, Drill Presses, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Forklift, Shears, Hand drills, Band Saw, and any other fabrication equipment as needed
  • Operate all other fabrication equipment in the cell (Robotic welders, drill presses, saws, hydraulic banks)


Minimum Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent



Value Added Skills:



  • Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
  • Team Player
  • Computer knowledge
  • Willingness to learn
  • Positive Attitude


Physical Requirements:



  • Working in areas where it can get warm
  • Working in a smoke free environment
  • Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow


Shift:



  • This is a 1st Shift position
  • Hours are 6pm-2pm Monday - Friday
  • Starting rate of pay is $21/hour
  • Overtime during busy season
