About The Role

We are currently looking for a Regional Market President to manage the Austin market. The Regional Market President serves as the senior banking leader for the assigned market, responsible for the overall growth, profitability, and community presence of the bank within that market. This role provides strategic direction for commercial lending, retail banking, and business development activities to ensure market objectives are met. The President leads by example, fostering strong client relationships, community partnerships, and a high-performance culture aligned with the bank's mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the assigned market to achieve growth in loans, deposits, and non-interest income.
  • Represent the bank as the senior leader within the community, reinforcing brand reputation and engagement.
  • Partner with regional and corporate leaders to align local objectives with overall bank goals.

Business Development & Relationship Management

  • Lead commercial and consumer business development efforts, targeting new relationships and expanding existing client portfolios.
  • Maintain a visible and active presence with key customers, business leaders, and community organizations.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, relationship-based service across all banking lines.
  • Work collaboratively with product specialists (Treasury Management, Mortgage, SBA, etc.) to deliver integrated financial solutions.

Credit & Risk Management

  • Oversee market-level credit quality and portfolio management in partnership with Credit Administration.
  • Participate in loan structuring, pricing, and approval processes within delegated authority.
  • Monitor market conditions and proactively manage potential risk exposures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and bank policy requirements.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members-including relationship managers, branch managers, and support staff-to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and customer focus within the market team.
  • Support professional development and succession planning for key positions.
  • Model ethical leadership and the bank's core values.

Community Involvement

  • Serve as the face of the bank in civic, charitable, and economic development organizations.
  • Build and maintain meaningful community partnerships that support local growth and enhance the bank's community reinvestment performance (CRA).
  • Represent the bank at community events, networking functions, and business forums.

About You

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive banking experience, including leadership in commercial lending and market management.
  • Proven track record of business development and community engagement.
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, loan structuring, and regulatory compliance.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. We offer an extensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. PTO accruals begin at .0745 per hour worked for our part time employees up to a maximum accrual of 240 hours per year for certain Full-Time employees. PTO accruals are dependent on position, status (Full time or Part time), and years of experience in accordance with our PTO policy. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
