Summary: The Human Resources Specialist - Journeyman will provide expert retirement counseling and processing support for IRS employees. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of federal retirement laws, regulations, and procedures, and the ability to navigate complex retirement scenarios. The incumbent will utilize various federal systems including eOPF, GRB, and ORA to determine retirement eligibility, prepare annuity estimates, and guide employees through the retirement process. This position is subject to a defined option period of six (6) months. Continued employment beyond the initial term is contingent upon contract requirements and performance. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:
