Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm

Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

(Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department)

Function:

Provides supervision, oversight, direction and support to personnel of Trust Support. Introduce and advises the division on changes to the industry, new regulation requirements as well as any significant changes in the trust accounting software. Works closely with Trust Manager, Trust Support Manager, Trust Operations Project Manager, Trust Operations Business Analyst, Relationship Managers, Relationship Administrators, Compliance and various other departments within S&T to ensure proper execution of all operational processes for Trust.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and/or approves daily work of Trust Support which includes cash processing, securities processing, trade settlements, reconcilements and money movements via the workflow system, general ledger, etc.

  • Responsible for producing and/or overseeing the Trust Fiduciary Committee reports.

  • Participates in the Trust Fiduciary Committee and/or applicable working groups involved with project implementation, business analytics, SOX, compliance, and audit controls.

  • Responsible for the preparation of regulatory reporting including but not limited to 13G, 13F, and RC-T.

  • Responsible for preparing the monthly revenue reporting, allocation of revenue to appropriate cost centers and the monthly projections of revenue.

  • Responsible to interface with internal audit, external auditing consultants as needed to provide appropriate and up to date documentation as requested.

  • Works with all system vendors to resolve any operational issues for Trust.

  • Responsible for training new employees and cross-training current employees.

  • Will perform the necessary maintenance to the existing workflow forms for Trust as well as assist with the creation of additional workflows to enhance efficiency.

  • Works closely with the Trust Support Manager regarding salary and performance reviews for Trust Support personnel. Responsible for the preparation of performance evaluations of direct reports.

  • Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the division and in turn, the organization

  • Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training or a two-year degree.

Experience:

Two to five years of general experience and one to two years of specialized experience required.

Physical Demands:

Operates a keypad device 60-70% of the day. Operates office equipment 20-30% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands and wrists and elbows, lower torso. Traveling to alternate work locations 20-30%. Overnight stays 10-20%. Sitting is required 60-70% per day. Standing 10-20% per day. Walking 10-20% per day. Reaching above the shoulders bending and twisting 0-10%.
