| Position Summary/ Department Summary:
  Working with the Principal Investigator (PI) provides scientific expertise and leads and guides a research team in the development of original scientific research at BCH. Conducts autonomous work and contributes to the development of research projects' strategy and outcome. Collaborates with PI in preparing scientific papers as needed. May participate in the writing of grant proposals, technical meetings, and symposia. This role may manage and/or advise lab personnel and have latitude in decision-making, including a role in the management of departmental or institutional cores. The individual remains under the supervision of a PI and is generally not expected to submit grants as a PI, except for those grants that might not require faculty rank for submission. This is not considered a faculty-level position at BCH or HMS. Key Responsibilities: 
 At least 7 years of original and relevant research of experience. Education: Master's Degree is required. Experience: Must have analytical development and demonstrated success in working on complex novel problems. The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
