Overview

As McKesson separates its Medical-Surgical business unit into a new independent entity, we are seeking a Project Manager tolead and coordinate sales enablement and customer support initiatives that are critical to the success of this transformation. This role will focus on standing up sales operations, enhancing customer relationship management capabilities, and ensuring customer-facing teams are equipped to support the evolving business. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, a customer-first mindset, and experience working closely with sales organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales enablement programs and tools to support the transition to a standalone entity.
  • Lead planning and execution of separation-related projects across sales and customer support functions.
  • Track customer relationship management enhancements and ensure alignment with business development and customer support needs.
  • Support training initiatives for sales and support teams to ensure readiness and consistency.
  • Manage documentation related to sales processes, customer engagement, and operational changes.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage interdependencies, and resolve issues impacting customer experience and sales operations.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure stakeholder engagement across impacted teams.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders, customer support teams, and business development partners to drive execution and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with the transformation office and external partners to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and governance bodies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in sales operations, customer support, or transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of physical security, risk management, and incident response planning.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficient in Smartsheet and Excel, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives using PowerPoint.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$102,100 - $170,100
