| What to Expect As a Tesla Facilities Projects Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide array of equipment critical to manufacturing at GF Nevada. You will apply your technical skills to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, gas and chemical, and instrumentation and control systems. You will work with the GF Nevada Facilities maintenance and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability to minimize, if not eliminate, unplanned downtime. What You'll Do
 
  Responsible for initial screening of open dispatches, assigning resources, scheduling all preventative maintenance activity, and ensuring team completionFlags equipment failure trends, supports root cause analysis, coordinates remediation actions, and manages planned downtime activity including labor and resource estimationCreates safety and standard repair procedures, ensures constant compliance, and follows all maintenance safety protocols (LOTO, 5-S, Arc Flash, etc.) to lead by exampleOrganizes required maintenance documentation, drawings, recordkeeping, and uses work order systems effectively (CMMS, Spares Inventory, Issue Tracking)Works with cross-functional groups to resolve issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize downtimeForecasts and authors purchase requests including budgeting, balancing, and recordkeeping, while creating, updating, and publishing key performance metrics for the teamExtensively collaborates with outside vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance, and works with contractors to secure bids, scope work, award contracts, and manage through completionWhat You'll Bring
