Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic initiatives related to our provider network. The intern will work closely with our healthcare management team to support various projects aimed at optimizing provider relationships, improving network performance and efficiencies, and enhancing patient care.

What you'll do...

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the provider network.

  • Conduct research and analysis on healthcare trends, provider performance, and network optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Support the creation of reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on provider network strategies and initiatives.

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of projects related to provider network management.

About you...

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in healthcare and healthcare management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the hourly salary [wage] for NYC-based applicants is: $25.00/hour-$50.00/hour. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
