Job Description (General Summary)
Intralox, L.L.C. is hiring a Lead Product Engineer for the Development Engineering Group in Hanover, MD. This individual will be the technical product owner for the innovative conveyance solutions in the Infeed & Singulation segment. As the Lead Product Engineer, you will be tightly connected with Product Management to help drive progress on the product roadmap. You will provide technical support for the assigned products and come up with ways to continuously optimize product performance. Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain a product roadmap and vision for assigned products in collaboration with the Product Manager. * Drive continuous product improvement by evaluating, deciding on, and implementing changes and new configurations in alignment with the product roadmap and vision. * Maintain and manage assigned products and configurations by ensuring that product catalogs, engineering models, and related documentation are kept up to date. * Provide expert support and mentorship to team members working on the product, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances productivity and innovation. * Address stakeholder queries, including customer complaints, class issues and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), promptly and effectively to ensure resolution and stakeholder satisfaction. * Collaborate and coordinate within a multi-disciplined global team including project managers, controls engineers, assembly technicians, and test engineers. * Build an in-depth understanding of the end user implementation of the assigned products by being on-site. Requirements: * 5+ years of experience in industrial machine design. 10+ years preferred. * BS in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. * Experienced hands-on technical leader with a strong mechanical aptitude. * Skilled in optimizing around project/product risks to expedite product releases * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Principled decision maker * Computer proficiency in 3D CAD and PLM workspace. * Travel required (up to 15%). * Self-Managed with a strong sense of ownership. * The position is in our Intralox office in Hanover, MD.
Desired Qualifications: * Autodesk Inventor experience, especially in sheet metal design. * PTC Windchill experience. * Conveyor equipment design preferred. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans Salary Range $66,000 to $168,600.
