Security Guard - Tech/Media Roving Patrol

As a Security Guard - Tech/Media Roving Patrol in Mountain View, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help foster a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your visible presence aids in helping to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. This dynamic role allows you to interact with people throughout the site, respond to various security-related situations, and be part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and visitors to address questions, assist with directions, and provide a professional security-related presence.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings, adapting to changing conditions within the tech, media, or telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
