As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a retail or mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct regular patrols, interact positively with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with conflict resolution and reporting as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter theft and/or other prohibited activity.
• Document incidents and observations clearly and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with retail staff and management to address potential issues or concerns within the location.
• Assist with visitor and contractor access control, following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card and/or security-related license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
