*Job Description*
* The Background Screening Processor assesses data from various databases and information systems to fulfill requested information related to the applicant's background, financial information, possible criminal history, credit history, etc. Analyzes findings and prepares summary reports with appropriate documentation. * Taking inbound calls (round robin system), handle 10-15 calls/day * Answer incoming emails from clients * Running reports through emails for clients, and address any issues that come through * Also sit in pending que, that have criminal reports, credit, verifications, and varying criminal reports (state, nationwide, county, and federal) / biggest piece to get reports out to the client (do this all day) * Phones come around, but have verification calls that they can do throughout the day that come through pending que * Monitoring que, monitoring email, in additional to taking inbound calls when they come in * Tenant screening - landlords, relators, individual property owners, and they need to screen tenants (run reports on prospective tenants), and once the reports come in, go through the report to make sure there are no false positives on real people, do research and provide the best data back to the clients * Credit goes through automatically, they can assist client in reading the credit report through a scorecard version * All reports are stored under each customer's account *Qualifications* * Experience talking on the phone * Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, etc. * Someone who enjoys research - required to provide the best results to the client * Strong familiarity with computer applications and software systems * Analytical ability to develop reports and supporting documentation * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documents related to the position * Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salisbury, MD. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
