As a Security Guard - Commercial Property Roving Patrols in Rockville, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service to those on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate professionally with property management, visitors, and employees, providing assistance and direction as required.
• Complete reports and logs documenting activities, incidents, and any security-related observations during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
