Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. You will interact with staff, visitors, and patients, providing outstanding customer service while assisting with security-related matters. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious behavior in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential criminal activity and provide reassurance to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas as needed.
• Support emergency response and evacuation procedures when appropriate, following site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
