The Administrative Assistant's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing administrative support in the areas of electronic mail processing, data entry, and document processing.

LOCATION: New Braunfels, TX


Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls.
  • Receive incoming materials and process outbound shipments in the ERP system.
  • Maintain inventory in the ERP system.
  • Direct visitors and clients.
  • Handle requests for information and data.
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
  • Prepare and modify documents, including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and e-mail.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
  • Process electronic mail, photocopy, or fax as required.
  • Maintain files to ensure all necessary documents are filed correctly and on schedule.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • General projects and additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - .College degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 Years - of administrative experience is required, preferably in the chemical industry or other manufacturing environments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures /systems, such as filing and record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office at the intermediate to advanced level.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Consistent detail orientation is required.
  • Must be able to multitask and adapt to sudden task changes.
  • Must be able to manage time to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
