As a Security Officer - Government Site - Full Time in Fresno, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized actions.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any security-related concerns or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed during patrols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions at the location when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
