This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

The Associate, Manufacturing Operations Management (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for supporting teams and processes across various manufacturing areas within a single plant. You will ensure alignment with business objectives, enhance production operations, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives at our ASPEX Manufacturing Facility, in Fort Worth, TX.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Support teams and processes across multiple manufacturing areas, including Production Engineering, Manufacturing Process Development, Mold, Tool & Die/Model Making, Production Operations, Production Planning/Control, and Manufacturing Materials Supply
  • Drive operational excellence by contributing to a well-trained, optimized labor workforce and supporting efficient production operations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist with resource management
  • All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
  • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
  • The ability to read, write, understand, and communicate fluently in English
  • Work hours: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (Training on and off shift may be included)
  • Location: Onsite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior Aseptic Manufacturing or Distribution Center Experience
  • Technical Manufacturing Skills
  • Proficient in managing multiple group projects
  • Self-Driven
  • Highly technical with equipment, processes, and systems
  • SAP, MES, LV8 (lab system)
  • Adapts seamlessly to independent work and team collaboration
