Job Description:

The Analyst, Air Charter supports RXO's on-demand air operations by managing aircraft movements from quote to delivery. This role ensures seamless execution of time-critical air shipments by identifying aircraft solutions, coordinating flight logistics, and maintaining proactive communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong aviation awareness, and delivers consistent operational results.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Evaluate aircraft types and capabilities to recommend the best charter options.
• Manage full-cycle coordination-quoting, scheduling, load planning, and final delivery.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and brokers to ensure accuracy and on-time performance.
• Use RXO's Transportation Management System (TMS) to monitor, audit, and update shipment data.
• Coordinate both domestic and international air movements.
• Prioritize urgent requests and make real-time decisions that impact performance and margin.
• Support process improvements to drive efficiency and response time.

What you'll need to excel

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Supply Chain, related field or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of experience in aviation, air cargo, or transportation operations
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and TMS platforms
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, in a 24/7 operation

It'd be great if you also have:

• 2+ years of experience in air charter brokerage, airline operations, or logistics coordination
• Familiarity with aircraft performance, cargo handling, and customs/export procedures
• Experience using flight-tracking or quoting software such as TMS, FlightAware, or ForeFlight
• Knowledge of FAA, IATA, and DOT air cargo regulations
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working in an office or cubicle setting with a moderate noise level.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, or rotating shifts to support 24/7 operations, with frequent phone and computer use.
