Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to provide analytical and operational support during a period of resource disruption. This role will focus on auditing, reconciling, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll operations leveraging ADP EV5 in a large, complex corporate environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Audit payroll runs for accuracy and compliance; identify and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile payroll results to general ledger and financial reporting systems
- Research and resolve complex payroll and tax issues in coordination with vendor
- Support quarter-end and year-end processing (W-2 balancing, adjustments, filings
- Analyze and validate payroll data, ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Partner with HRIS, Benefits, and Finance to support cross-functional integration
- Prepare and deliver payroll reports, metrics, and insights for leadership
Required Skills & Experience:
- Payroll experience, including analysis, auditing, and reconciliation
- Advanced experience with ADP Enterprise V5 (EV5), Workday or other Enterprise Payroll systems
- Solid understanding of multi-state payroll, tax, and compliance processes
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros a plus)
- Experience working within large, enterprise-level payroll environments
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability, and communication skills
- Familiarity with GL accounting, payroll journal entries, and variance analysis
- Knowledge of benefit deductions and regulatory compliance around Savings and Retirement plans and Health and Welfare benefits. Prior experience with or knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- CPP certification or equivalent professional designation, a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred.
