Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a Financial Operations Representative in Williamsville, NY!

Pay rate: $20.00-$24.00/Hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday in a HYRBID setting!

Length: Temp (6 Months)

Responsible for key financial operations, including customer billing, receivables, payables, and cash management for corporate and client accounts. Duties include:

  • Preparing and reconciling check writes and EFT payments for self-funded medical, dental, and reimbursement accounts.
  • Coordinating corporate accounts payable and processing vendor invoices.
  • Preparing and verifying customer invoices and reconciling billing with receivables.
  • Monitoring bank transactions, performing daily cash reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintaining financial reports and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Supporting employer relationships while maintaining effective recovery practices.
  • Acting as a liaison within the finance department and across other teams.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial operations business environment
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other vendor payment platforms.
  • Experience with general ledger systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form with all internal and external customers professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to make decisions consistently that effectively balance the administration of policy with rational, logical customer-centric servicing.
  • Ability to understand and articulate processes and concepts with proven accuracy, organization and analytical skills; ability to prioritize tasks in an environment of diverse and shifting priorities.
  • Be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be self-motivated and adapt easily to change; workloads may peak with certain operations, and the associate must be able to adapt as warranted.

  • Be able to research reporting discrepancies independently, suggest a resolution and recommend process improvement.
