Job Summary:

Durst Image Technology is seeking a systems administrator responsible for managing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting end-users both locally and remotely. This role includes serving as the primary liaison with our parent company in Europe and overseeing vendor relationships, including support with contract analysis and negotiations. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system integration, crisis management, and proactive planning for future technological needs.

Skills & Responsibilities:

The most important skills are a combination of customer service and excellent technical/troubleshooting. The ability to prioritize and outstanding verbal/written communication skills are also very important. Candidates should be proactive whenever possible and prepared to respond reactively when problems arise. To perform this job successfully, the Systems Administrator must be able to perform each responsibility reliably.

  • Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user computer hardware, software, printing, scanning, and peripheral devices. Locally and Remote.
  • Manage and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure components, including Active Directory domain architecture, Hybrid Environments, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows Server platforms (2016/2019+), Linux, VMware, vSphere virtualization environments, Dell EMC storage arrays, and Microsoft O365 Admin
  • Maintain server infrastructure and system integrations supporting our mission-critical applications, including Sage 100 (ERP) and Astea (Service Management).
  • Contribute to planning and implementation of improvements to critical systems, along with deployment and training in new software implementation.
  • Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Perform security access testing and manage users' rights within ERP and other systems.
