Description
The Head of Government Programs is responsible for the development and execution of for our clients Federal's programs. This position will focus on the efficient management of our clients Federal contracts and engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment of these programs with the needs of stakeholders.
* Manage all aspects of our clients Federal's contracted programs including scoping, execution, compliance, and reporting.
* Work with business development and sales team members to support new program pursuit, proposals, capture, and contracting.
* Drive strategic discussions with key external partners to advance the interests of our clients Federal and Group.
* Build relationships with stakeholders among our clients affiliates and ecosystem partners.
* Implement operational solutions that align programs with the Group's business strategy.
* Monitor projects to achieve successful outcomes around scope, schedule and budget.
* Be proactive and exercise initiative in identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks.
* Work with our clients Federal team members to ensure that existing programs and contracts are operating efficiently and to specifications.
* Proactively organize and lead meetings to communicate program status and drive programs' success.
* Represent our client at relevant gathers and meetings to advance the interests of the organization.
* Work to plan and execute events designed to generate business for their Federal division.
* As the organization grows, lead a team to deliver success in several technical areas across multiple contract formats and contract performance roles.
* Ensure that their Federal is well organized and well run.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:

* Seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in program management and supporting government clients.

* Comfort in a dynamic environment with rapid growth.

* Capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects at different stages in execution.

* Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization.

* Knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
