Director, Product Management, Digital Shopping & OMS

We're hiring a senior product leader to own Petco's digital shopping and order management experience across web, mobile web, mobile app, and the order management and fulfillment systems that power BOPUS, Same-Day Delivery, shipping, and Repeat Delivery.

You'll also partner closely with our Services teams to integrate hospital, clinic, and grooming journeys, and with our Loyalty team to bring membership, rewards, and personalized benefits into the shopping experience.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for improving revenue, conversion, AOV, margin, fulfillment performance, and building a cohesive customer experience across retail, services, and loyalty.

What You'll Do Product Strategy & Execution
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers and Manager-level PMs.
  • Own the long-term product vision and roadmap for Petco's digital shopping, post-purchase, OMS, and digital fulfillment experiences.
  • Prioritize work that drives conversion, AOV, Repeat Delivery, and fulfillment reliability.
  • Elevate the end-to-end shopping experience across discovery, search, PDPs, cart, checkout, and order tracking.
  • Build a strong experimentation culture through A/B testing, funnel optimization, personalization, and recommendations.
  • Establish a high bar for accountability, prioritization, and data-driven decision making.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with engineering to deliver scalable systems, strong architecture, and reliable execution.
  • Work with UX/design to elevate usability on all surfaces, with a particular focus on mobile.
  • Collaborate with store operations, supply chain, and fulfillment partners to improve OMS accuracy, routing, pickup/delivery flows, and post-purchase communication.
  • Work with the Services organization to integrate booking, scheduling, and service-related journeys into the shopping experience.
  • Partner with CRM, Loyalty, and Marketing to embed membership, rewards, and targeted offers into shopping and fulfillment flows.
Customer Experience & Fulfillment
  • Improve speed, stability, accessibility, SEO, and overall digital experience quality.
  • Strengthen digital merchandising, attach-rate strategies, and add-on recommendations to lift AOV.
  • Reduce friction across BOPUS and Same-Day Delivery through clearer handoff, better store readiness, and improved communication.
  • Own funnel performance across the entire shopping and fulfillment journey.
Data & Measurement
  • Define metrics, instrumentation standards, experimentation practices, and reporting expectations for the portfolio.
  • Partner with analytics to turn insights into prioritized, high-impact work across conversion, retention, fulfillment, and loyalty.
  • Ensure every initiative has clear success criteria, measurable outcomes, and ongoing performance monitoring.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years in digital product management, including 3+ years leading managers in a consumer-facing ecommerce or omnichannel environment.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quantify impact, model tradeoffs, and prioritize work that grows revenue and margin.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale digital products and customer-facing experiences.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce fundamentals: navigation, search, PDPs, cart, checkout, payments, fulfillment, and post-purchase.
  • Experience with omnichannel retail, particularly BOPUS and ship-from-store.
  • Background in brick-and-mortar or hybrid digital/physical retail (strong plus).
  • Solid technical fluency across APIs, web/mobile architecture, integrations, and platform performance.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, build alignment across functions, and drive clear decisions.
Success Looks Like
  • Higher conversion and AOV across digital channels.
  • Increased Repeat Delivery enrollment and retention.
  • Faster, more reliable BOPUS and Same-Day Delivery performance.
  • Improved OMS accuracy and reduced customer issues.
  • A high-performing product team with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Predictable, data-driven roadmaps aligned tightly with engineering, Services, and the broader business.
Other
  • Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.
