Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Orangeburg, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Maintain 5S (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices across the warehouse and production areas.
• Transport materials between buildings and departments using a truck and other material handling equipment.
• Support daily housekeeping and organization tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Assist with inventory movement, labeling, and staging of materials.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to identify and eliminate waste in material flow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 /hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week

Length: Temporary (3 months)

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating forklifts.
• Forklift certification.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience supporting lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with basic inventory systems or Enterprise Resource Planning tools.
• Good understanding of 5S principles and workplace organization.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
