Job Overview

Perform a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks, while complying with current ISO requirements, all safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards.

A Day In The Life

  • Perform various administrative and office duties as needed to support the production team.
  • Review the report and issue shop orders to Lead Person if all components needed to complete the order are in stock.
  • Assist with generating work orders and keying production data
  • The Production Clerk will be responsible for meeting customer demands by planning, coordinating, and organizing the production orders.
  • Create and manage quality documentation required for production.
  • Provide direct support to the production team.
  • Assist with managing inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Assist with the release and distribution of job specific packages to include Drawings, Shop Orders, and Inspection Plans for Material Control and Manufacturing.
  • Supporting Production Planning.
  • Material Management.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the production planning team, Supervisors and Production floor.

Language Skills - Good communication skills are key. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


Mathematical Skills- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Experience working with consolidations.


Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Need to be able to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Other Skills and Abilities - Must be detail oriented. Must be organized and have the ability and drive to meet deadlines and work under pressure.


Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily and meet the physical demands to successfully perform the essential function of this job. Education and/or experience - High school diploma or GED preferred. Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions. Computer knowledge and keyboard skills a plus. Experience in production expediting preferred.


Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing


Mathematical Skills - Basic mathematical skills are required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.


Reasoning Ability - Ability to understand and carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
