TITLE: Technical Engineer



POSITION OBJECTIVE: Support technical manager to optimize process, formulation through trial test and study.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • B.S./M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering.
  • 1-year experience in plastics related field.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication, enabling effective interaction with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for establishing and maintain process conditions that optimally meet the productivity and quality goals of the company.
  • Contribute to the development of enhances process conditions, through research and development, experimental production runs, and follow-up of downstream positive or negative effects of experimentation.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting effort with Operations Manager and Production Operators to maximize results.
  • Maintain good interdepartmental relationships to meet company goals.
  • Fully support both scheduling and production demands, to meet both customer and productivity needs.
  • Effectively communicate with production personnel to ensure the understanding of process reasoning, especially with changing process conditions to optimize either productivity or quality.
  • Assist technical manager to develop new product.
  • Other assigned duties by the technical manager.
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance, and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
  • Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
  • Learn and keep Profile's recycling program going.
  • Keep all Profile product clean and dirt free at all times.



WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:



  • Inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions not necessarily temperature conditions.
  • Outside environmental conditions, no effective protection from weather.
  • Subject to extreme cold, temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
  • Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
  • Subject to noise causing reason to shout in order to be heard above the noise level.
