Advanced Practice Provider Peds CT Surgery

Seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider for UH Cleveland Medical Center/Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in a Pediatric CT Surgery role. The APP will round on post operative patients in the ICU and CSDU, consult on pre-operative patients in CSDU/ICU/NICU, and pre/post surgical appointments in clinic. Opportunity for first/second assist in OR but not required. Schedule is Mon-Fri day shift. Will consider new grads with OR experience or rotation. NP candidates must possess PNP-AC.

A Brief Overview

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

• Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self
• Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management
• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism
• Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
