Extrusion Operator - 2nd Shift (E7 & E8 Final Jacket Operation)

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Extrusion Operators to join our 2nd shift production team. These roles support our E7 and E8 extrusion lines, including the final jacket operation.

Shift: 2nd Shift (generally 2:00 PM-10:00 PM)

Contract to hire

Key Responsibilities:




  • Operate and monitor the E7 and/or E8 extrusion lines to ensure consistent product quality



  • Perform the final jacket extrusion on the E8 line, applying the outer protective layer to cable products



  • Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment as needed



  • Conduct in-process inspections and verify dimensions, color codes, and material specifications



  • Maintain accurate production records and follow safety protocols



  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with manufacturing standards




Qualifications:




  • Previous extrusion or cable manufacturing experience preferred



  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine setups



  • Ability to read job travelers, material specs, and quality check sheets



  • Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work



  • Ability to work 2nd shift consistently
